Cubicle Privacy Doors
Cubicles are already offer a good amount of privacy…but at times, you may just want to shut yourself away from the distractions of the office and neighboring cubicles. We thought this product was pretty cool, the Quartet privacy screens and doors. They are said to fit most types of cubicles, and serves double purpose as a whiteboard…very cool!
You can buy the Quartet privacy door on Amazon (which goes all the way to the ground with built in casters) for about $245 or the Quartet privacy screen
on Amazon for about $165.

Hmm, interesting. I didn’t know that there are already cubicle doors. But, there is a great advantage – you won’t be able to hear annoying co-workers (if there are some inside your office) and work at peace. Also, you would have complete privacy – at least, a mini room.
Now that’s an office supply worth paying for out of your own pocket. I guess it’s semi-transparent so your boss can still see that you are at your desk (and not missing or asleep).

I work for an organization where some employees have pocket doors on a 4 foot high cubicle and some of these employees work on confidential information. So I am thinking what’s is the use. Anyhow after researching about interruptions in the workplace and what was available I came across CoworkerBGone cubicle doors at http://www.coworkerbgone.com I believe this could is a happy medium for some.
Another cubicle door company released a whitepaper that reveals the amount of time and productivity lost to interruptions each day. I blogged about it here: http://www.panelextenders.com/blog/cubicle-tool/
If you really want to cut down on noise, it would be a good idea to add a cube door and panel extenders.
